Class Vault is operated by ClassVault LLC, a company incorporated in the United States. We build tools to help Pilates instructors plan and manage their classes and clients.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through the Class Vault mobile application ("the App").
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the App's functionality:
- Account information — your name and email address when you create an account.
- App content you create — class plans, exercises, move notes, spring tensions, playlists, and client session notes that you enter into the App.
- Usage data — basic information such as app crashes and error logs to help us fix bugs. This data is anonymized and not linked to your identity.
We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, or any information unrelated to the App's core purpose.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account
- To store and sync your class library and client notes across your devices
- To process your subscription payment via the Apple App Store
- To respond to your support requests
- To improve the App's stability and performance
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or sale to third parties.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database service. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.
Each user's data is isolated — you can only access your own classes, exercises, and client notes. No other user can view your data.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple Inc. through the App Store. ClassVault LLC does not collect, store, or process your payment card details. For billing inquiries, please contact Apple Support or manage your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → My Profile → Delete Account). Upon deletion:
- All your classes, exercises, and client notes are permanently deleted from our servers.
- Your authentication credentials are removed from Firebase Authentication.
- This process is irreversible. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for professional Pilates instructors and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
8. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase — data storage and authentication (firebase.google.com/support/privacy)
- Apple App Store — subscription billing
We do not integrate advertising SDKs, social media trackers, or third-party analytics platforms.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain types of processing
